What do you do when it’s raining and it’s Monday… You bake of course!
Baby Gia is teething and teething hard. Everything she touches goes straight into her mouth and she gnaws on it like a hamster filing her teeth-haha!
I’m not a pedantic, she can’t eat ANY refined sugar kind of mom, but I am trying my best to keep refined sugar at bay for as long as possible. I love baking and Love making things for Baby Gia so I figured why not give teething biscuits a try.
The results were surprisingly satisfying so I thought I would share what I did…
1 cup oat flour (I mulled regular oats using my baby bullet)
1 cup normal flour
1 mashed banana
Cinnamon to taste
1/3 cup water
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Simply mix al your ingredients together in a mixing bowl until a dough forms. You may need more water if it’s too dry or more flour of choice if too wet. Once you have your dough, roll it out and cut some cute biscuits for your little one. I used a medium heart and cupcake shaped cutter. Bake in the oven for +-25 mins or until slightly golden in colour. Allow biscuits to cool before giving to your baby!
I will definitely experiment more with these biscuits, adding chia seeds and perhaps some different fruit like apple or pear. This is the basic recipe which can be modified! Have fun and enjoy.
